North Cyprus is a year-round paradise at the far corner of the Med, an island nation that is rich in beaches, scenery and fabulous resorts. But while you can visit at any time, spring is a fabulous season as the weather turns it up a notch and wild flowers sweep the unspoilt countryside. Spring is a time when prices – always below so much of the Med – provide off-season value alongside the growing warmth of summer.

The ancient harbour town of Kyrenia is nearby.
